Warriors
Chapter one:
Mist hug in the late night air, clinging to the moon as clouds soon covered its beautiful glow. Four tall oak trees towered and crippled, begging to receive the moon’s dancing light once more on their leaves. A pale yellow tom could be seen standing on a glistening stone, holding it’s head high as he jumped from the still moon-lit rock. A black tom, still digging his claws into the stone, watched as the yellw tabby began padding away, other cats joining him and whispering their concerns. Even though the yellow tom’s rage was alive it was unclear under his loyal and leader-like eyes. The black tom hissed as an amber-and-black tortoiseshell fallowed him as she tried her best to copy his great, clam eyes.
The black tom glanced around, noticing the other two leaders where gone, padding away with their Clans and muttering threats and curses at him. She leaped down on the snow-covered ground and waved his tail for the rest of the cats to follow him. Soon all of them where padding through the snow of the clearing, struggling to keep their feet from sinking. The tom grumbled and as his warriors fallowed from him. Soon he noticed a large brown tabby bound up next to him, concern flashing in the tabby’s eyes. "Darkstar! Please!" He cried to him. "Next time we're in a gathering remember it’s a peaceful time! I don’t want a leader that gets us in battle with ThunderClan, only because of a simple mistake!"
Just as the tom spoke another voice chimed in Darkstar’s head. He drowned out the tom’s words as he focused on the voice. It was the beautiful tortoiseshell, still walking next to the yellow tom. “Are you okay Lionstar?" Her voise asked. Her voice was like bells to Darkstar's ears. Soon anger flooded over him as he returned his gaze to the brown tabby tom.
Darkstar turned his head slowly and glared at the tabby. "Brownfur! If you were not my deputy, I would have clawed you ears of at "please!" I'm the leader here and you’re not yet! You will fallow my commands!" Darkstar turned and bounded farther up.
Brownfur sighed and looked away. His sister Littleflower tried to comfort him but it didn't work.
The ShadowClan cats were soon at Pine Forest. Brownfur kept his eyes on the ground. He soon heard a mew. He stoped dead in his tracks and looked around. He could see nothing. Darkstar growled and walked up to Brownfur. The rest of the clan stopped and waited for they're leader. "Brownfur what is the meaning of this!"
Brownfur shook his head and looked away. Brownfur's eyes widened and he stared at a little shivering kit in the snow. It was so delicate and cold from the falling snow that Brownfur almost saw it as a little clump of snow. The she-kit was covered in ice and snow that hid her ash-black pelt and small paws. Soon Brown fur noticed Darkstar rushing to the kit and quickly scooping it up in her jaws.
The leader looked side to side, trying to find any trances off a rouge mother or any other abandoned kits. Finally Darkstar moved on, the tiny kit limp in his pointed fangs. His clan looked at him with wide surprised eyes. "Move out!" He yowled at them past the bundle of fur in his jaws. Brownfur stared at Darkstar; the leader had never shown any compassion to anything before. Darkstar could step on a newborn kit’s head and never feel sorry for it.
Brownfur was about to step forward when he froze. In the distance he could see two large eyes staring at him and felt the sent of fox flood into his nose.. The warrior braced himself to attack, but instead of warning barks or fericsome fangs, a soft voise came for the darkness around the eyes. Brownfur froze at the words that where burned into his mind…
‘One shall destroy four and bring the forest to a new Shadow no one can kill…’
